3D print your silver jewelry designs!

Once we’re done creating your design as a 3D Model, it’s time to print it! If you already have a CAD file of your design, we’ll be happy to use that instead.

3D printed resin models

We exclusively use DLP 3D Printers (Digital Light Processing) because of their higher resolution and uniformity in size and quality compared to LCD 3D printers. This vital factor means we can achieve much greater detail in the production because this printer uses liquid resin.

DLP 3D Printers cause the liquid resin to instantly harden into plastic as it is exposed to UV light via the DLP projector at the bottom plate of the machine. The light beam is used as a mask to create an image of each layer, so the printed image hardens one layer at a time. Each layer can be as thin as 10µm (0.01mm) which creates very high resolution details.

After inspection of your 3D Print, it is ready for casting. For all our 3D prints we use high-quality castable resin, which means the 3D Printed Model properties resemble the features of carving wax, which makes it suitable for lost-wax Casting.
