Binar can facilitate the whole Casting process for you, whether you already have a master object or just a sketch. We can cast silver, Wax Carvings, and even 3D Printed resin objects for you. Using the Lost Wax Casting process, we’ll create a unique prototype of your design.
Using a vacuum casting machine, we place the model in investment plaster inside a flask. This investment plaster must be completely air-free, so our craftspeople must be extremely precise to get this process perfect. The investment goes through a vacuum process that forces every bubble out of the mixture.
Once the plaster is carefully poured into the flask by an expert craftsperson, careful not to touch the model directly. Then, it is placed in a kiln overnight at series of extreme temperatures, which burnout the resin or wax and leaves a perfect mold within.
This plaster creates the cast of your design and readies it for the next step, melting the silver in a special melting furnace and pouring it into the mold. When the red-hot metal cools, the Casting is placed in a vat of cold water to break down the investment plaster to reveal your original piece of jewelry.
