No, Binar Silver is a jewelry factory: we design and produce every style ourselves. This website is our ‘shop’, but we also have a showroom so if you are visiting Bali you are always welcome to visit us!
No, we do not have a hard-copy catalogue, instead our website is our catalogue and it contains all our styles. We add new styles all the time, so check back often to look for new styles.
The minimum order for wholesale discounts is only 5 pieces per style. Beads and clasps have a minimum order of 25 grams per style. The total value of an order has to be US$ 250.00 or more.
We accept credit card (Visa Card, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card) and PayPal payments. You can also make a direct bank transfer if you wish.
Delivery time depends of the size and complexity of your order. However, since all items are hand-made, on average it will approximately take one or two weeks before an order is ready to ship.
We ship all our products Free On Board (FOB Factory). That means that you can decide yourself how you would like your order to be shipped. We charge you nothing extra, so you just pay the transport and insurance costs. We normally use FedEx, but you can also instruct the courier service of your choice to collect your order at our location on Bali.
No, we only ship orders which are fully paid for. If you wish, you may make a deposit of 50% at the time of your order and balance the other 50% at the time that your order is ready to ship (this only applies for orders with a total value higher than USD1.000,-)
Yes, we also do custom work, so we can produce your design! All we need is a drawing or picture. Optionally, we can make a wax model of your design first, so you have a real life prototype.
Yes, it’s possible to choose the type of stone yourself. Just contact us and let us know which style and which stone you would like and we will give you a custom price.
All the silver products you see on this website are .925, this is also known as Sterling Silver. That means that the item contains 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper.
Well, almost….since all items are hand-made, it is impossible to create two of the same exactly. Therefore the sizes and weights shown are approximate and can only be used as an indication. Furthermore, all prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Silver reacts with ozone (the rays from the sun) and hydrogen sulfides (found in the air of industrial cities). That reaction can form a black layer of silver sulfide.
You can best use a soft polishing cloth to clean your silver items. If necessary, you can also use a polishing solution. When you won’t use your silver jewelry for a longer period of time, it is best to keep them inside a closed plastic bag.
